Founder of Ballistic Sounds.

4GAuto’s frivolous new lifestyle is just the beginning for the 22-year-old rapper. He recently signed with PureBred Music group, a music label based in Atlanta, New Jersey and Las Vegas. Ballistic Sounds caught up with the Jersey native discussing his future project, plans for the summer and working in Atlanta.

Read all about it below:

What made you want to pursue a rap career?
When I was 17 years old, I used to hear local artist around the city and people actually had them thinking they were good. I knew in my heart I could be one of the best rappers in the game if I took it seriously and focused on my craft. I used to watch Lil Wayne on MTV Jams and be in my room rapping in the background to his videos back then. I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

You have been spending a lot of time in Atlanta lately what brings you to the area?
My label, PureBred Music Group, put me up in a high rise for the summer to work on my mixtape. The label also sent me my own personal engineer as well as a videographer to document my summer as I work on my mixtape. Since I’ve been out in Atlanta, I received nothing but love and great vibes. It’s a very different culture from jersey but I’m digging it. It’s like a second home to me already.

Jersey or ATL?
That’s hard to pick. Honestly, I treat every city like it’s my home but at the end of the day I’m a Jersey boy. Being an artist you have to know how to embrace every city you’re in especially when you have die hard fans that show you the love and support that I receive. Without them, there is no me.

When is your project dropping?
My project should be dropping by the end of the summer. I shoot the visual to my first single, “Chanel Chanel” July 15th. Joe Yung Spike will be directing my video. He has directed videos for Future,Gucci Mane, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, DJ Khaled, Lil Boosie and Webbie. It was an honor for him to ask to shoot my video. We’re bringing the big toys out and a lot of big cameos. So get ready, because this is gonna be a classic, ya feel me?

What should we expect from your upcoming project?
My upcoming mixtape is a tape that you can listen to from the beginning to the end without skipping any tracks. I have songs that all audiences can relate with. I believe I’ve put together a complete body of work that everyone would enjoy listening too.

Are there any collaborations that we should be excited for?
I don’t want to spoil any surprises. I’ve got a lot of big name artists who I’ve collaborated with. You might get a couple of those features on the tape, but you’ll have to cop the mixtape to find out.

Plans for the summer?
My only plan is to take over the summer. I haven’t dropped music in 5 months because I’ve been working and perfecting my craft. My fans are still interested and ready to see what my next move is. PureBred is a lifestyle, not just a label. Our cars are exotic, our jewelry is custom, and our women are foreign. My manager Jackpot and I have been running through these cities tearing up clubs and strip clubs making movies. Now you’re gonna hear about our life experiences through my music.
